Summary
The determination of levels of amoxycillin and tetracycline
in serum, uterus, ovarian tube and ovary in patients treated
with these antibiotics and bromelain proved to be higher
than in patients treated with the same antibiotics and
placebo or indomethacin. It is concluded that bromelain
favours the absorption and tissue penetration of antibiotics
by mechanisms that are not shared by other antiinflammatory
agents. |
